From runway-to-reality is often a jolting journey.
Runway looks, las these from the recent Mercedes-Benz Swim Fashion Week show in Miami illustrate, often seem impossibly glamorous and unrealted to the lives (and figures!) of most women. And then there's the stratospheric cost of designer creations.
But here's a new Web site that promises to help "real" women access affordable runway-inspired looks. Take a peek at www.runwayrundown.com. It juxtaposes designer outfits next to reasonably-priced (relatively speaking) versions, and provides direct links for purchasing the lower-priced alternatives.
